From Sedalia: Travel 32 miles on Highway 65 South. Take Truman Dam Visitor Center exit. (approx. 1 mile before Warsaw). At bottom of ramp turn right and travel 2 ½ miles crossing over the dam to stop sign. Turn left and go ½ mile to road Shawnee Bend Rd. (cemetery on will be on right) Turn right on Shawnee Bend Rd. Travel 300 feet, turn right on Waggoner Rd. and go approx. ¼ mile and the park is on the left.

From Clinton: Travel 28 miles on Highway 7 South to Truman Dam Access Road. Turn left, go 1 mile. Turn left on Shawnee Bend Rd and travel 100 feet. Turn right on Waggoner Rd. and go approx. ¼ mile and the park is on the left.
